AASL-016;
8 DAYS SAMBURU/ABERDARES/L. NAKURU/L. NAIVASHA/MAASAI MARA
Day 1; Samburu;
Depart Nairobi for Samburu National reserve arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2; Samburu;
Full day in Samburu with game drives (optional visits to Samburu villages).
All meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3; Treetops;
Breakfast at a lodge and depart for the tree hotel arriving at outspan
hotel for lunch. Afternoon transfer to treetops lodge for floodlit game
viewing. Dinner and overnight at treetops lodge.
Day 4; Lake Nakuru;
Depart treetops hotel after breakfast and leave for Lake Nakuru arriving
in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake
Nakuru lodge.
Day 5; Lake Naivasha;
Breakfast and depart for Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Lake
Naivasha is one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley lakes, has a
variety of bird life and hippo colonies. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at
Lake Naivasha country club.
Day 6; Maasai Mara;
Breakfast and leave for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon
game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 7; Maasai Mara National Reserve;
An extensive morning game drive is followed by a lazy restful afternoon
by the poolside or another game drive. This part of the northern Serengeti
is where the great wild best migration is resident and it will be possible
to see huge herds of these animals covering much of the reserve. (optional
balloon safari). Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 8; Nairobi;
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, arriving at around 1400 hours.
ASSL-017;
9 DAYS ABERDARES/SAMBURU/LAKE NAKURU/MAASAI MARA/AMBOSELI
 Day
1; Aberdares;
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Aberdares National park in the dense
forest of the Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan golf
& Country club. Afternoon tranfser by lodge vehicle to treetops lodge
for floodlit game viewing.Dinner and overnight at Treetops Lodge.
Day 2; Samburu;
After breakfast proceed to Samburu National Reserve cross Equator, travel
through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but
having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's Zebra,
Beisa, oryx, gerenuk. These species are rarely found elsewhere. The bird
life is especially notable. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive
is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3; Samburu;
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Optional visit to Samburu
villages. Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 4;Lake Nakuru;
Depart Samburu after breakfast and proceed south to lake Nakuru, which
is often referred to as the pink lake for it’s great masses of pink flamingos.
Arrive in time for lunch. Can also see water buck, leopards impala, Buffalo
and is currently a rhino sanctuary. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner
and overnight at a lodge.
Day 5; Maasai Mara;
Leave Nakuru after breakfast and head for Maasai Mara National Reserve
which is famous for it’s great herds of wild game. All animals found in
Kenya among the “big five” are found here. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon
game drives. Dinner and overnight at a loge.
Day 6; Maasai Mara;
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Leisure at lodge or visit
the Maasai villages- at a small fee paid separately. Meals and overnight
at a lodge.
Day 7; Amboseli;
Depart Mara after breakfast and proceed to Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch.
Arrive to the park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s
highest peak. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a
lodge.
Day 8;Amboseli;
Full day with two game drive. Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 9; Nairobi;
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, arriving late afternoon.
ASSL-018; 10 DAYS SAMBURU/ABERDARES/MAASAI
MARA/AMBOSELI/TSAVO WEST
Day 1; Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Samburu, cross equator and proceed to
the rugged semi-desert region. Samburu hosts some of the species of game
that are rarely found elsewhere. Arrive in time for Lunch. Afternoon game
drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2; Samburu;
Full day in Samburu see leopard and other cats, grevy’s zebra, reticulated
giraffe, elephant, greater kudu, long-neck gerenuk, Beisa oryx, somali
ostrich and the vulturine guinea fowl among others. Morning and afternoon
game drive is taken. Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3;Aberdares National Park;
After breakfast proceed to Aberdares which is within the equator line
with dense forests which harbor lots of elephants, rhino, leopards, bush
buck, elusive Bongo or giant forest hog. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon
game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 4; Maasai Mara;
Depart Aberadares after breakfast and move to famous Maasai Mara National
Reserve. It has great herds of wild life, arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon
game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 5;Maasai Mara;
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at
a lodge.
Day 6; Amboseli;
Pre-breakfast game drive then depart for Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch.
Amboseli is at the foot of the snow-capped Mt.Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest
peak. Late afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 7; Amboseli;
Full day in this photogenic park. Two game drives. Meals and overnight
at a lodge.
Day 8; Tsavo West;
Proceed to Tsavo West National park. View game enroute arrive in time
for lunch at Shaitani Lava Flow. Visit the Mzima Springs to view hippos,
crocodiles and variety of fish. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 9;Tsavo West;
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at
a lodge.
Day 10; Nairobi;
Pre-breakfast game drives, after breakfast proceed to Nairobi or Mombasa.
