Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs.Safari Briefing and passing
the majestic Mt. Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu
Game Reserve arriving in good time for lunch at a lodge,Late
afternoon game drive.Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa/serena
Lodge.

Day 2: Samburu Game reserve
- Full day in Samburu with picnic
lunch.optional visit to Samburu villages
- Samburu Game Reserve has Several
species are considered unique to the region, including its ts unique
dry-country animal life: All
 three
big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, can be found here, as well as
elephants, buffalo and hippos and Ewaso Ng'iro river contains large
numbers of Nile crocodile.
Other mammals frequently seen in the park include gerenuk, warthogs,
Grant's gazelle, Kirk's dik-dik, impala, waterbuck, Grevy's zebra,
Beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe,ver 350 species of bird. These
include Somali ostrich, grey-headed kingfisher, sunbirds,
bee-eaters, marabou stork, tawny eagle, bateleur, vulturine
guineafowl,yellow throated spurfowl, lilac-breasted roller, palm nut
vulture, red-billed hornbill, secretary bird, Verreaux's eagle,
superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.

Day 3: Samburu -Lake
Baringo
- Depart in the early morning
across the scenic Lerochi Plateau (with lunch enroute) towards
Lake Baringo. Arriving for lunch this fresh water lake in the
late afternoon, we enjoy an evening boat ride in search of
hippo, fish eagle and a variety of other birds.
Lake Baringo is the most Northerly of Kenya's small Rift Valley
lakes;
 creased with papyrus and well developed acacia forest.
Hippos, and monitor lizards are effortlessly seen from the
shore, as is a magnificent display of water birds. This is
Kenya's bird watching centre with over 1200 different species
native to the country and more than 450 sighted here. A bird
watcher's haven but beware, this is malaria land so its best to
come prepared with plenty of mosquito repellent Dinner and over
night at the lodge

- Day 4
– Baringo Lake Nakuru
- we drive south to the
spectacular Lake Bogoria with hot springs and geysers being the
main attractions. The lake has been called 'the new home of the
flamingo' with a nomad population of up to two million birds.
Lunch and then proceed for an afternoon game drive at the Lake
Nakuru National Park.
- Lake Nakuru has more than just flamingos. This is a major
National Park and an important sanctuary for Rhino. There are
 huge
herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, the endangered Rothschild
Giraffe and both Black and White Rhino are found here
Lake Nakuru
has unusual but beautiful vegetation. The forest vegetation is
covered with Euphorbia, tall cactus like trees and acacia
woodland. The forest region is a host to over 400 migratory bird
species from around the world
- Day 5 :
Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
We depart the lodge soon after
breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara to arrive in good time for
Lunch,followed by afternoon game drives dinner and overnight
stay at Mara Sopa Lodge /Simba lodge

- Masai Mara is famous for its
Big 5, and the annual migration of wildebeests
- and zebras, Thomson's gazelle,
and wildebeest from the Serengeti every year from July to
October, Numerous other antelopes can be found, including
Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, impalas, elands, large herds of
zebra are found through the reserve. Lions , leopards, cheetah,
hyenas,Masai giraffe, impala, wildebeest, topi, baboons,
warthogs, buffalo, zebra, elephants, and of course hippos and
crocodiles in the Mara River,over 400 species of birds have been
identified in the park, many of which are migrants, with over 60
species
